An Information Technology Business Incubator (ITBI) - was established in year 2001 with the support of the National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, with a vision to nurture and facilitate ICT based startup companies to develop and grow into successful free standing businesses in a viable timeframe.

The JSSATE-STEP, Noida was awarded the “Best STEP/TBI 2004” – a National award instituted by the Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India.

INITIATIVE WITH THE SUPPORT OF THE MINSITRY OF MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES, GOVT. OF INDIA

In the year 2010, the MoMSME introduced the scheme “Entrepreneurial & Managerial Development for SME’s through Incubator”, under which the JSSATE-STEP was identified as one of the agencies to implement the scheme.

The objective of the scheme is to provide financial support to the Incubator to nurture startup companies in the incubator. Under this scheme, upto 10 companies can be provided incubation support in the Incubator. More details are available under the Incubation services section.
