The JSSATE STEP, Noida is a registered society under the Society Registration Act 1860. It provides value added programmes and services for the students, unemployed youth, working professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs in the National Capital Region.

JSSATE- STEP was conferred with the Best TBI award by DST for 2004. Within less than 8 years of its short existence JSSATE STEP has successfully incubated 37 startups of which 13 have graduated and have collectively created more than 300 jobs while generating revenues in excess of Rs. 15 crores.

JSSATE-STEP focuses on two principal sectors, Information Technology (IT) and Manufacturing Technology (MT).

It consists of following departments:

1. Product Lifecycle Management Competency Centre (PLMCC)
2. Entrepreneur Development Training (EDT)
3. Skills and Knowledge for Improved Livelihood and Living Standards (SKILLS)
4. Centre for Advanced Manufacturing Technology (CAMT)
5. Information Technology Business Incubator (ITBI)
